This shoe, called Tamise, is from 1959, and belongs to the Couture Collection range. The range itself, introduced in the late 1950s, was prestigious for Clarks, and competing with Italian manufacturers such as Cavalli. 1,000th Digitised Shoe Milestone Reached!
The Shoe Digitisation Project reached a major milestone this week; the 1,000th shoe was photographed, cleaned, documented and safely packed away by the team at the Alfred Gillett Trust.
