We are currently recruiting for volunteers to help us at the Heritage Open Days exhibition in September.
We need volunteers to help steward the exhibition which involves chatting to visitors, signposting and taking enquiries. This is a great opportunity to go behind the scenes at the Alfred Gillett Trust and support your local heritage.
We are looking for help from Friday 9th until Sunday 18th September.
Cover can either be a full day from 9.30am to 4.30pm or half days, with morning (9.30am – 1pm) and afternoon (1pm – 4.30pm) shifts available.

We are usually looking for volunteers to help and have a range of roles suitable for different interests and levels of time commitment.
With a wide range of projects being undertaken by the Trust, including cataloguing, digitisation, collection moves and developing exhibitions, there is scope for the volunteer role to be adapted to suit potential requirements of any successful applicant, making this an ideal opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience working with archive or museum collections.
