We are interested in recruiting trustees with expertise in finance, especially museum related, or capital development projects or fundraising to offer keen oversight and support for our new museum project. Strong Somerset social and historical knowledge and networks would also be beneficial.
Meetings per annum/time commitment: 4 board meetings per year, plus variable committee meetings
Time and location of meetings: Usually Saturdays, four hours, in Street, Somerset
Closing date for applications: 31/1/2020

The Trust are always looking for volunteers to help and have a range of roles suitable for different interests and levels of time commitment.
With a wide range of projects being undertaken by the Trust at present, including cataloguing, digitisation, collection moves and developing exhibitions, there is scope for the volunteer role to be adapted to suit potential requirements of any successful applicant, making this an ideal opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience working with archive or museum collections.
