Point of Sale Items Photographed for Clarks Project
The Alfred Gillett Trust were able to take part in an exciting partnership with the Clarks marketing department this week to help develop new displays for Clarks shops. We provided a local photographic studio with a range of different pieces of historic point of sale, the advertising material which is sent to shops every season.
We have an extensive point of sale collection, with around 18,000 pieces dating back as far as the 1870s. A range of items from our collection were photographed representing some of Clarks’ most iconic brands including Playups and Flotillas from the 1950s, Skyline from the 60s, Commandos from the 70s and Magic Steps from the 80s.
Hopefully you will be able to see the finished displays in shops this May.
