Wildedges are Melanie Thompson (performer & film-maker) and Kathryn John (writer & facilitator) who have spent a year researching and exploring the cycle of the seasons in the walled orchard at the Grange.

Open Orchard: A Lunchtime Sanctuary

Friday 11th and Saturday 12th May

11am to 2pm

Bring your lunch and your curiosity with you!

A rare chance to explore this secret oasis, make connections and just relax.

Please bring a blanket and/or chair(s).

Falling to Grace

Saturday 12th May

8.30pm to 10pm

Join us in the orchard at night, to immerse yourself in a series of short films covering four seasons in this magnificent space.

Each film is a creative response to the orchard, its history and location.

There will be hot apple juice available which has been made from the trees in the orchard and kindly donated by Hecks cider.

Be Just and Fear Not

Friday 11th to Sunday 12th May

11am to 5pm

A site-specific installation responding to the archives in the Alfred Gillett Trust and the documentation of the year spent in the orchard.

2-3pm: Artists talk about the residency
