We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
Can you help us bring a new museum to life? We are looking for an exceptional Assistant Museum Manager, for an exciting new role within the Alfred Gillett Trust. This new role will help our Museum Manager to deliver and then manage the new Shoemakers Museum, which opens in Summer 2025.
35 hours a week, £30,000 based in Street, Somerset

We are usually looking for volunteers to help and have a range of roles suitable for different interests and levels of time commitment.
With a wide range of projects being undertaken by the Trust, including cataloguing, digitisation, collection moves and developing exhibitions, there is scope for the volunteer role to be adapted to suit potential requirements of any successful applicant, making this an ideal opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience working with archive or museum collections.
