If you are visiting us as a visitor or researcher, there is pay and display parking available at the Clarks Village car park 2 situated off the A39. Please do not use the entrance off Farm road as this is for deliveries only. Please contact us if you would like detailed instructions on how to access the site.

Shoemakers Museum opens 18 September

Shoemakers Museum Cafe will open on 15 September 2025 for lunches and light bites offering a taste of Somerset. Shoemakers Museum will open on 18 September - celebrating 200 years of shoemaking history. The museum will be open daily from 10am until 5pm, tickets are available to book now at https://shoemakersmuseum.org.uk/.
